WSA Introduces Technical Training Fridays
Introduces Technical Training Fridays
New to the club this year, Technical Training Friday’s is led by our very own Asst Director of Coaching, Dan Macaya. This is for advanced competition players (Select and Premier). There is no additional cost, it’s a valuable club service included in your registration fees.
Who/When/Where:
U11/U12 boys and girls, Friday nights*, 5-6 PM Doc Harris grass fields
U13/14 boys and girls, Friday nights*, 6-7 PM Doc Harris fields
U15 and older boys and a girls, Friday nights*, 7-8 PM Doc Harris fields
What is it?
Technical development training designed to augment weekly team practice routines. In order to develop our club and its organic talent, we must invest time and resources to its success. To take our teams to the next level, players must have the technical skills to do so. While not a requirement for most teams, this training is HIGHLY recommended!

* Fridays that we will NOT be training – Memorial Day weekend (May 28th), and Clash at the Border weekend (June 25th) and Labor Day weekend (Sept. 1st)

NSCAA National Diplom
WSA is proud to announce the first ever NSCAA National Diploma Coaching Course in the Pacific NW !
This is a Non Residential course (housing and food is not provided) that is the equivalent of the USSF C clinic.
Dates: July 30 – Aug. 1st and Aug. 6 – 8th in Camas (JDZ Elementary School next to Doc Harris Stadium). Possible Thursday night session on July 29th – TBD.
Cost: $525 for NSCAA members --- $650 for non members (but this does include NSCAA membership for one year)

A Classic Battle Between the States
The Clash at the Border soccer tournament brings together premier and select level teams from Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, and Canada for a weekend of competitive soccer on brilliant fields in a spectacular location on the banks of the Columbia River National Scenic Area in Camas, Washington. The Clash at the Boarder is located in historic Camas Washington, a delightful riverside community on the banks of the Columbia and Washougal rivers, yet only 5 minutes from Vancouver and 15-20 minutes from Portland. Here you can truly enjoy small town charm and big city convenience.
Tournament Details
The Clash at the Border is a highly competitive soccer tournament for club teams U-10 to U-19, both boys and girls. All teams are guaranteed to play three games. Almost half the teams will play at least four games and maybe as many as six games if they advance to the final. The actual number of games will depend on the number of teams playing in the age group.
